Music became a special part of Gale’s life and her soulful songs and smokey voice have delighted many an audience and afforded her the opportunity to support musicians from Leon Redbone, Al Stewart and Leon Russell, to Pat Benetar and Martina McBride. Her song “Money Changes Everything” from her 2009 CD “Chasing The Rabbit” was recorded by Nashville legend Nanci Griffith for her CD “The Loving Kind” released the same year. Originally from the UK, Gale’s talents have brought her to many places around the world from California to Switzerland and back home to Scotland. Her sound has been influenced by the artists she grew up listening to like Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt and Carol King and her melodic, acoustic guitar driven music and insightful lyrics have been compared to artists like Sheryl Crowe, Shawn Colvin and Nora Jones. She released her latest CD “Sideways” in 2015 and is hard at work on her next album of original music.
